“Nice boutique hotel outside the hustle and bustle of the central district. Easy to and from airport and private car can be arranged. Very courteous and pleasant staff. Especially high marks for Menuka at the front desk who was extremely helpful and accommodating. Several food options available within the property itself including a French restaurant and next door great coffee and lunch at Cafe Himalaya Rooms were wel appointed with balconies. Hotel is filled with many artificers and artwork...

“The hotel property and service were excellent. The problem with this visit was that the mountains were not visible. We went in the recommended month, April, to see the mountains. All we saw was smog inversion from Kathmandu. There is nothing else to do around the property except view the mountains and use the resort facilities. The spa was excellent.”

“Ett gammalt kungligt palats som byggdes om till hotell på 60-talet. Hotellet ligger en bit in från en av huvudvägarna, vilket gör att det är tyst och fridfullt. Stor trädgård och ett poolområde med egen liten poolbar. Charmen finns där, och rummen ger verkligen känsla av "kunglig touch" med sina handmålade tak och speciell design. Lobbyn ger en känsla av hur det var förr i tiden. Badrummen är aningen trånga, men det står man gärna ut med. Sängkomforten är fast, men inte alltför mycket....

“Overall nice stay. The view on a clear day is beautiful, the breakfast buffet is good, the pool area is lovely, massages were great. Staff is kind - shout out to Nelson who helped me recover my passport lost in a plane. On the downside the steam room and sauna were not working well, we did not get house cleaning on our second day and we did not like that the shower water dripped onto the whole bathroom floor. Just feedback for the team which I’m sure can be remedied. ”
