“The front desks ladies knew nothing about the amenities . I asked if the pool was heated , they said no. They had issues checking us in. It smelled like bad body odor and the rooms smelled horrible. The food was okay.”

“You get what you pay for. The rooms were alright, the beds were alright. Overall, it was average. It was cheap and id stay there again. It wasn’t anything special, just a warm room and a roof. The checking in process in the lobby was automated and I thought that was pretty cool though”

“Bathroom sink faucet leaked terribly, to the point that it flooded the floor. The tub's paint was peeling and there was no bath soap in the bathroom. Very shady neighborhood, didn't feel safe in the parking lot or the lobby.”

“Would not rent here again. Hosts: The hosts were very poor at communicating and replying to messages. I had to reach out to VRBO multiple times to help me with communication with them. Main house: The property was not as expected. Three floors, no bedrooms on main floor. AC only worked on first floor, so the third floor became unbearable by the end of the day… couldn’t sleep up there (had to sleep on couch). Front door jam is loose and probably insecure. Living room TV had no clicker for volume...

“Perfect spot for me to spend time with my sailor stationed in Norfolk. He was able to stay a few days and it was perfect with his own bedroom and en suite. Host was wonderful and responded quickly. Would definitely come back. ”

“This is a wonderful property that will comfortably sleep 4-5. The house is very clean and very well stocked with linens, kitchen supplies, etc. The beds were obviously newer and very comfortable! The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. There are grocery stores, fast food, restaurants, and anything you might need within a 5-10 min drive from the house. We stayed here while attending two shows at the Portsmouth Pavilion. The location was perfect. Easy 10 minute drive to the pavilion. ...

“Little too cold for swimming but the pool was beautiful. House was very clean and comfortable. We had 8 staying and we didn’t feel on top of each other. One of our party left her jewelry behind but the owner was great and arrangements where made to get them back to her. Would definitely stay again!”

“Only issue we had was the main entry door was very difficult to open. Reported it and it was due to be fixed. Price per night was a lot cheaper if we had an extra night (3 instead of 2).Other than that the property has all amenities we required the beds were very comfortable. Property was clean.Decent location for all the attractions in the city, so long as you have a vehicle.”

“Scrupulously clean but smaller than expected and more an air b&b than a VRBO. It was in an older neighborhood and not at all luxurious which is why we always use VRBO. Parking for two cars was also difficult. Finally the host was VERY slow to respond and not at all friendly. He did not provide access instructions until check in time. We also had to ask separately for the WiFi information. We will not stay there again. ”
