“I booked a two-room unit through Expedia, but upon arrival, we discovered there were no two-room units available at all. Confused, we sought help at a busy pizza restaurant in front of the building, which appeared to function as the makeshift check-in desk. The manager reviewed a handwritten list of names and prices and said, “We weren’t expecting you,” then gave us a key to a much smaller, one-room unit. Attempts to contact the owner through Vrbo messaging (as instructed) went unanswered....

“This is an amazing home for a large family get together. There are large spaces where you can meet together as groups and something for everyone to do. We’d love to come back. This home is especially great for families with children between the ages of 3 and 10.”

“Gorgeous view of Bear Lake! We had a wonderful family vacation here. It was comfortable and had everything we needed. The only negative things are that you have to verify your identity with Vacasa, a rental agency, after you've booked with VRBO, or they will not grant you entrance to the property. The hideaway bed in the living room is basically unsleepable because it's flimsy. We just used a cot we had. It's an older home, but it met our needs. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Didn’t need anything fancy, just a place to sleep. Cabin is right next to the road, but once inside, it’s quiet. Great shower, nice and clean, bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking if you bring your boat. If you want a clean, well kept property, no frills cabin, this is a great place to stay. Property has multiple cabins, would be great if you had a large group and wanted your own space at the end of the day. I will definitely return for another stay.”

“The cabin was very cozy and clean. Loved the location, very close to most restaurants/beach/marina and the Caribbean Custard & Italian Ice onsite was an added bonus which we enjoyed each night. It was nice to have a fire pit onsite as well. Only criticism would be that the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty and required multiple reboots to get it to work. Walk up to the beach. *the staff on the phone should learn to say Ideal Beach Resort, when you talk to them, don't be confused when the girls says Idol Beach Resort. Sheets had a ton of hair in them. My husband looked it over and we felt the beds were recently made, not slept in, just bad laundry service. Maybe change the dryer filter every load. ”

“Our stay at Jess and Ryan’s place was wonderful. They gave very detailed descriptions on where to park, the condo was clean, and it had everything we needed and more. They were so gracious to refund us our pet fee after we ended up having to put our dog down before our trip to Bear Lake. Once we checked in, we found a couple of small odd things on the property but Ryan was so responsive. This rental’s location to the pool cannot be beat.
