“A broken coffee machine and a clogged sink made our stay at this hotel far from pleasant. To address the issues, the manager offered a discount on a future stay. Unfortunately, given our experience, I'm not sure we'll be returning.”

“He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs. “The suite was beautiful, clean and well looked after. The reason for the less than ideal rating is that the pictures and description led me to believe the suite was more private than it was. I believed we were booking a secluded and private location, but the suite is actually attached to the main residence. The reason I was willing to spend what we did after taxes and fees was that I believed we’d have more privacy than we would if we booked a hotel in Canmore or Kananaskis. The furnace was...

“Perfect place. ”

“The view was great but the lake was frozen so a little different I think than if it was summer. Was cool seeing people drifting on the frozen lake though. Rooms were great, good sizes, awesome large main bedroom, noise from the living does carry upstairs as there is no door to separate it. I thought downstairs had a bigger living room of it own, so was not expecting that, but it worked out just fine. Open living, dining, kitchen was great for everyone hanging out.”
