“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful or comfortable stay. We were not notified at the time of booking, nor at check-in, that a wedding would be taking place at the hotel during our stay, with loud music continuing until midnight. “As with the Z Hotel Piccadilly, this hotel was great in all but one way: air conditioning and ice! It’s hot in the summer, friends — and it’s only going to get hotter! That means you should significantly upgrade your air-conditioning system as soon as you can; the current one is simply not up to the job. And when you serve drinks in the hotel, you should be assuming that everyone will want a glass full of ice — not looking surprised and dubious when a guest timidly asks whether ice is available,...

“Lovely safari tent in a convenient and peaceful setting. Incredibly handy for National Water sports centre. Bed was comfy, great having separate rooms too. Worth noting that although there are toilets close by, the only showers are at the far end of the campsite so a few minutes walk away. Tent had a mini fridge and an electric kettle, but no gas hob or pans / crockery / cutlery / cups etc so need to take your own if planning on any cooking / hot chocolates etc.”

“The room was lovely though the walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbours TV. The floors of the upstairs rooms were a bit squeaky but it was a fairly rustic building so to be expected. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The kitchens were out of order but they provided a superb continental breakfast.”
