“This historic plantation felt more like a family compound than a hotel. Many lovely verandas to have a drink and learn more about the history of the island. Several themed dinner events through the week. Lots of monkeys too! ”

The property is a short drive (25US taxi) from the ferry port in Charelstown, with most of the island's beaches, restaurants and resorts between the two. “Just returned home from my stay at this property and I must say that I totally enjoyed it. The house is air conditioned and comfortable and the neighborhood is nice and quiet. If excersize walking is your thing, this particular neighborhood is ideal. You can walk within the neighborhood comfortably-- no need to go to the main road. In addition to everything stayed before, the owner and on-island contact are pleasant and respond quickly to inquiries. All in all, great place, nice stay!”

“This place is a hidden gem !! We usually stay at Four Seasons and wanted something more "boutique" and intimate . This unit did not fail . It has shades for the early morning sun , a great AC , comfortable bed and TV. The views are incredible. The beach club there has amazing breakfast and lunch and you have access to the beach with comfy lounge chairs and umbrellas. Host was great and this was absolutely perfect !! ”
