“We had visited this property at Christmas time in 2018 and had such a warm lovely experience. It was different this time. I was told new management came in 2020. There are still Christmas trees and dusty wrapped presents on the upper landing. I did enjoy the lemon water and the breakfast was ok. It was just a different, more impersonal experience this time.”

I do know the other two in this town are no good won't give details you really don't want to hear them. “This historic home was extremely well-furnished with lots of interesting decor and books to look at and a comfy couch. Each room has its own mini-split AC, and could control the temp separately. I loved the design of the kitchen with plenty of supplies for cooking and a coffee pot. The bed was so luxurious and comfy, it was perfect for the overnight stay. The patio was great for an early morning connect with nature, many birds singing. The bathroom vanity was a little small, but overall...

“This was a great little place to stay. The property owners were so kind to me and the property was exactly as advertised. It was fabulous to have a washer and dryer and a full kitchen! Everything was clean and spacious, and I would definitely stay here again. My only small concern was when the air conditioner would kick on it was very loud blowing through the duct work. My guess is because it has an industrial style hvac system, but on the bright side it Stayed nice and cool! ”

“What a special place to stay while in Glasgow! Everything was perfect and a special touch to have a local pastry for breakfast for our 36th wedding anniversary. So comfortable and there isn’t one thing I would add. They have thought of everything. I highly recommend! If you plan to spend time in Glasgow there is more to do Thursday - Saturday.”

“My dogs and I loved our stay at The Latch House Barn! The decor and fittings are top-notch, yet also durable enough to accommodate furry friends. The fenced yard was a very welcome amenity for weary travelers, as was the picturesque, eminently-walkable town of Arrow Rock. Only detractor from a perfect visit was the baffling absence of any toilet paper in any bathroom, or anywhere in the house that I was able to find! A one-off oversight, I’m sure. Would love to stay longer next time, and explore...
