“Staying at Sweet Gum was an absolute delight and the pics do not do it justice. This property is absolutely First Class in all ways. I was amazed at the extent and quality of the decorating and furnishings including a well-stocked kitchen with bone china! The furniture including the bed was very comfortable. “The KATY Trail Pull Off was the second night say for us as part of our KATY Trail cycling tour. It was easy to access, convenient, clean, spacious, and easy to walk downtown to grab a bit to eat. Our host was very responsive and welcoming. Definitely a place I would stay again if cycling the KATY Trail. ”

“My mom, my son, her dog, our dog (both small), and I stayed for three nights while visiting family in the area. The property was great for us! The house is well kept, cute, and welcoming with everything you could need provided. The only negatives for me are that the mattresses were very firm and the train going through just down the street with the whistle blowing at night and early morning. Overall, it was great. I would stay here again. ”

“I was incredibly surprised at how comfy the beds were at this day. It was very clean and the water pressure was perfect. The kitchen was well appointed, TV worked great. And I definitely stay here again! It’s centrally located in town so you could get to all restaurants within a few minutes. It was a really comfortable stay.”

“The house is set in a typical small town “well lived and loved” neighborhood—one that I happened to have been raised in as a young person, so I loved it! It made a great gathering place for me, my sister, and cousins. Plenty of space to hang out in the sitting rooms or playing games around the table. But the best spot was on the front porch! ”
