“Was a nice place, lots of character, room was clean. No real amenities aside from small expensive bar, which I suppose is to be expected in tourist town. However, the swamp coolers apparently not for cooling, as basically fan setting option only so we had to put fans in window to blow cooler night air in to try and cool room a bit. Also not personally a fan of the no tv concept, but that aside would recommend and would probably stay again. Think would be quite charming in winter.”

“Great room and it all worked well. It was a bit unusual not to have a personal check in, but they had a good solution for it. The joint bathroom was good, although it felt like there were many rooms to that one bathroom. The stairs up was a challenge with suitcases and a poor back. The room itself was lovely and beautifully arranged. Loved it!”

“Loved suite #3! So cute and well maintained. We loved having the balcony access and the cool mountain air flowing through the windows and skylights. Cute little kitchenette with keurig, small fridge and small microwave. Close to the Coffee Bear. Highly recommend the Lacey Rose Saloon and the Rendezvous 1830 for dinner. Both were excellent.”

“The owners were super nice and the building had tons of character. I had to take away stars because the primary reasons I booked at this location was that the property information listed breakfast being included and laundry facilities as a convenience. The owner said they haven't provided breakfast in quite a long time and the laundry facility was a laundromat across the street.”

“Silverton is a great rustic town—much more chill than Durango and Ouray! This property is just one block off the Main Street, which made it easy to walk around and explore the town, without all the noise that comes from being on Main Street. The property has a lot of fun original features like the floors and pictures of the town. Showers worked great, hosts were friendly—all around a great place to stay!”
