“Given the location, most of the clients of the hotel seem to be people in the mining industry, so the hotel doesn't have a "tourist" vibe. The town itself doesn't offer much more than for an overnight stop, although there is an interesting tour into a major iron mine on some days of the week. The breakfast was quite ample (have to keep miners well fed) and even included omelet on order.”

“Unfortunately our experience at Oasis at Newman was not a great one. The room was very small and there was an unpleasant odour in the room. The sheets were stained, the bed was tiny, the walls were very thin (we could hear noise through the walls), there was a scratch on the TV and there was no milk in the fridge (the staff were helpful when I went to ask for it, though). Considering how expensive the room was, we were left disappointed with the venue.”
