“Room was excellent as were the amenities. Access was easy and the cabin (Bamboo Cabin) was very quiet and extremely private. Bath Hpuse was very good as was the shared kitchen - clean, well equiped and round an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended for those wanting something off the beaten track.”

“Breakfast is fruit heavy and bread light. But the real issues are: the property description shouldn't indicate , you will get green geckos all over the place, long horned beetles , walking sticks , aggravating , katydids and cats that don't care that you're carrying heavy suitcases because they refuse to move out of your way. Coqui frogs go on all night and roosters early morning. No curtains so you always wake up at the crack of dawn. Cats are fed in guest kitchen and will lick your food....

“We stayed 5 nights at A Beautiful Edge of the World B&B and were pleasantly surprised by the service at this beautiful 2-story house in the middle of the Kona jungle, just a few minutes from Mamalahoa HWY (HWY 11). Every morning we were served an amazing breakfast of eggs, pancakes, or toast, always including fresh fruits (mango, papaya, pineapple, banana) and freshly brewed Kona coffee, both grown locally at the ranch. “This property’s location is probably one of the best in the Captain Cooks area, the views from the pool deck are stunning. Sarah’s breakfasts are one of a kind, fresh, healthy and a different taste everyday. At the Luana-Inn you’ll feel like at home, no room service but everything you need is available, just ask. The 2 cabins near the pool need acoustical insulation from the floor above. The Captain cook area is like a jungle, luscious green and beautiful winding roads to get to the property....

“This was a perfect place for my son and I to stay, with a bedroom for me and a couch for him. The hostess was super nice, and they even left us some fresh local fruit! Everything is newly updated and nice, and the neighborhood is quiet except for the frogs. Highly recommend!”

“Property was overall OK. a few inconveniences such as you need to haul away your own garbage to an offsite dumpster that is a little hard to find, quite time from 10PM to 8AM is understandable but when they say quite time that includes talking louder then a whisper and even the ceiling fan was asked to not be used during that time frame. The pictures of the property are a bit misleading. The pic with the red umbrella was probably taken some time ago before the trees across the street grew...
