“This hotel is OK. Rooms are OK, location is OK, restaurant is OK. Nothing is fantastic about it. If you look for very "western" this is it. I would have liked a shorter walk to restaurants and bars, and a bit better state of maintenance, for the price. Friendly staff though, and nothing really to complain about.”

“Au lieu de payé 286 euros comme annoncé. La dame de l'accueil s'est trompé et nous a fait payé 386 euros. Toutes les activités sont payantes tandis qu'il est indiqué qu'elles sont gratuites. Personnelle pas très souriant et peu courtois pour beaucoup. Pas d'eau ni d'électricité ni d'internet dans tout le gîte et aucune possibilité de se faire rembouser une partie du séjour. ”

“To the owner of this apartment: please consider hiring a different care taker! We arrived in Parbo after a long bus journey and was looking forward to a good stay. First impression was excellent - nice quiet street with amazing tall trees hundreds years old, the building looked modern. However we were not able to raise the attention of the staff, there was a note on the door saying we should call a number - but how do we do that if we don;t have cell or wifi connections in a new country...

“Hele fijne gastvrouw en gastheer, behulpzaam: ze belden telkens een taxi voor ons, gaven tips voor trips, ze zijn erg vriendelijk en belangstellend, je voelde je er thuis! Kleinschalig, goed zwembad! Om met plezier terug te komen. Wel taxi nodig voor de binnenstad, verder geen probleem en ook goedkoop.”

“Outstanding place!!! Yeah its location is at the edge of town, but still enjoyed myself. And since I do a lot of walking, I was able to go out and see the REAL Paramaribo, and not just the tourist attractions.”
