“This was our fourth stay. We enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery and opportunity to recharge our batteries in an authentic, step back in time farmhouse. The home is super clean. The beds are very comfortable, and the extra blankets were super comfy as the evening wore on. After a few days of back-to-back travel, we put the laundry room to very good use and prepared meals in the spacious kitchen. There was a charcoal grill there, but it was small, so we ended up cooking most of the food indoors. The room that I was in, the shower did not work. “The reason for our stay was to tube and ski. This location is approximately 10 minutes from Peek n Peak. It is a small old cottage. The host let us check in early. I do not reccomend this location for a winter stay as there was a dead mouse in the cottage and mouse droppings throughout kitchen cabintes along with acorns. When taking linens off one bed acorns were found in the sheets. The host was apologetic. However, for the price we paid I expect no mouse droppings, dead mice or acorns. We...

“Nice location, communicative host. We have stayed in VRBO’s across the US. We always appreciate the reviews of the homes as well as accuracy of listing. While this home has many great features, such as location to MainStreet/shops, great view of the Lake. It’s worth noting, it was not the cleanest when we arrived.
