“Wow… just wow. What an amazing and pleasantly surprising stay. Such a charming and welcoming place. Our family of four spent unfortunately only one night here during our vacation in the fascinating Dordogne, but absolutely love it. This isn’t one of those polished corporate hotels, this was a small piece of France! The host was very welcoming and pleasant. She spoke excellent English and made sure we never had to stumble with our very limited French. We had the top-floor room with an open attic...

“We had a wonderful week in this beautiful house! The house is beautiful and perfect for large family dinners on the terrace with a view. The location was ideal for cave, castle and historical adventures as well as outstanding gastronomy. My kids loved the pool. Fun for all from young to old!”

The location of the house is perfect with easy access to many of the top sights in the area but offering peace and privacy. Ewen was the perfect host, being on hand if we needed him, but also allowing us time to spend together as a family uninterrupted. The kids particularly enjoyed the pool and the many outside games that were available throughout our stay. We'll definitely consider returning. Many...

Traveling as two families, the setup with two separate homes was ideal and allowed us to divide space perfectly. The houses are full of charm and tradition, offering a unique and authentic experience. The location is excellent—quiet and private, yet close enough to explore the surrounding area. Everything we needed for daily life was nearby, but having a car is absolutely essential.While...
