“Very clean. The air conditioner in the room didn't work, but after 13 hours driving from Florida to Virginia we were so exhausted that we weren't concerned about the air conditioner. We did tell the front desk when we checked out.”

“No lock for the door the was broken ”

“The evening started well. The place appeared clean, and the bedding was comfortable. The room above us was making a lot of noise, but we thought that they might stop when it got dark out. Very very loud music and you could hear them banging on the floor. I called the desk at 3 AM and was told “it’s a drunk“. I called back at 3:30 and when we realized no one was gonna do anything we left and drove a long drive home. I guess when you get a cheap price like this, you get people that are using...

“Initially when we reviewed the pictures of this property it really looked good! The packing lot area looked very clean and the picture of the bedroom looked nice! But once we walked into our room # 109 it was a total disaster! “Great, cozy cabin for a couple! The place was clean and well-stocked. We had no issue finding the cabin and enjoyed the bit of privacy that the longer driveway provided. It was a little cool when we arrived but the lovely gas fireplace warmed us up quickly!We had originally planned to stay during a large snowstorm but the owner reached out, generously offering to reschedule for a later date due to the snow emergency. “Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon.”
