“This was advertised as a 1500 Apartment with 2 bedrooms. It's a storage unit that they added 2 toilets too. There are no windows, the toilets extractor fans did not work and the host tried to order a new extractor fan on about the 27 of April 2026. The lights/globes in the place were also inadequate and had to go buy a 75 W globe in order to see anything in the kitchen. The second bed was a SOFA BED and the last time I had to sleep on a sofa bed was 40 years ago. ”

“This is a lovely apartment home in a quaint village just outside of Amsterdam. Second floor has a kitchen with everything you need, one bathroom, and primary bedroom. The third floor has two bedrooms with two twin beds each. The apartment has big windows and felt light and airy. Apartment was updated and clean, communication with the host was excellent, and the village was lovely to walk around. This is close to Amsterdam and surrounding areas. We rented a car for our trip but there were buses...

“We hadden per mail grvraagd of we al iets eerder naar de accommodatie konden, en gelukkig was dit geen probleem. Door wegwerkzaamheden is t openbaarvervoer iets verder weg. Een kwartiertje wandelen, op zich geen probleem, maar we hadden de pech dat t flink regende. En ondanks t weer een hele leuke ervaring. Supermarkt ongeveer 10 min. met de auto.”

“The house is wonderful, well equipped and suitable for a larger group. The distance to Amsterdam is perfect and the bus runs all day and night. Great running routs in the area also. There is just a really small grocery shop in the village though. We had great help from the host who answered right away when asked, gave us useful information and made us feel really welcomed.”

“We loved our stay in this bed and breakfast! Klaas was always easy to communicate with and Marianna was so kind and welcoming during our stay. She met us at check in to make sure we had everything we needed and she made a delicious breakfast each morning. The village was very easy to get to from Amsterdam and the surrounding villages. We usually took bus 314 or 316. We rented bikes near the bus stop (30 euro cash for two bikes for a day). Broek is beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed...

“We had a wonderful stay with Deep and Julie on their Catermeran. We enjoyed some wonderful sailing and anchored near an Island for the night. We had a lovely evening sharing stories over dinner and watching the sun go down! I was impressed how warm and cosy the boat was and how well we all slept! Waking up surrounded by nature and beautiful scenery in the morning was very special and we enjoyed basking up the sunshine before setting sail. It was a great adventure for both children and adults...

“Leo and Marieke are wonderfully kind and attentive hosts. The property is spacious and situated in the stunning Dutch countryside on a quiet road. All the windows let in such a beautiful light throughout the day. We absolutely loved it. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms large. The house is located near the quaint towns of Monnickendam and Edam-Volendam, as well as Broek in Waterland. All these villages offer very nice restaurants (often followed by evening strolls by the canals)....
