Utmärkt boende
Centralt beläget, trevligt boende som vi gärna kan tänka oss att komma tillbaka till. Lugnt och tryggt område Bra inrett litet kök, bekväma sängar och vi kände oss snart hemma. Rent och snyggt. Kan väl rekommendera Castle Luxury Apartments.

Dear Maria. Our studio apartments are on the ground floor and on the top floor there are 2 one bedroom apartments with balcony. You booked a studio and then requested to stay on the top floor. I am sorry that was not possible and that you were disappointed

Väldigt ofräsch lägenhet. Lägenheten skulle vara för 4 personer men endast två sängar fanns + en bäddsoffa som det inte gick att sova i då det var metallstänger som stod upp. Övrigt så var golvet klibbigt och det luktade instängt. Vi bodde första natten på Radisson och det var mycket bättre och rekommenderas.

Centralt och bekvämt
Utmärkt lägenhetshotell med mycket central placering. Kanske något trångt, men funktionellt för fyra personer (två vuxna och två barn, 11 och 14). Bra kök med spis, kylskåp, diskmaskin och nödvändiga kökstillbehör. Bara 5 min promenad in till centrala Reykavik.

Min recension om Castle House
Hotellet låg mitt i centrum, 1 min promenad så var man i Reykjavik City. Fanns turistbyrå i närheten, många restauranger och barer att välja mellan och shoppinggatan låg bara nån minut från hotellet. Rummet var perfekt stort, rent, fräscht badrum och gratis Wi-FI. Dock fanns det ingen reception och man var tvungen att ringa på en klocka och prata med personalen via telefon, vilket jag upplevde som inte så bra service. Det ingick heller ingen frukost men vi köpte oss yoghurt och smörgås i en affär och det funkade så bra. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell för antingen vänner (som oss) eller som par.

Felt like home
I had a very nice stay here. Was perfect when travelling by your self. Stayed 2 nights before moving to a much more expensive hotel my job was paying for. I missed this really much and would have preferred to stay here. It had everything your needed and felt like home.

Excellent place !
It was a pleasant stay. The appartment is situated in a wonderful area of Reykjavik, in the city center and close to the lake. The only problem I had ws with the wi-fi that sometimes did not work. The reception was easy to get in contact with and helped out every time I called. I recommend this place!

Bra läge. "Luxury" är kanske inte helt passande namn, men det var rent och bra, och rymligt. Wi-fi funkade inte alls; verkade inte vara något tillfälligt fel, utan alldeles för gamla routers.

Perfekt lägenhet i centrala Reykjavik
Bodde här i tre nätter. Lägenheten hade allt man kan önska och badrummet var modernt. Mycket bra service via mejl och information i lägenheten. Skulle välja detta igen om jag åker tillbaka.

Bokade en stor lägenhet på Embassy Luxury Apartments - 3 sovrum - och är nöjd med boendet. Mycket rimlig, bra utrustad och läget utmärkt för vistelse i Reykjavik. Enda nackdelen var att det endast var 1 badrum och det relativt litet.

Comfortable living close to the heart of Reykjavik
Location is everything; this apartment-hotel was a stone-throw away from the city centre, yet a couple of streets out to create a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. We stayed in Apartment 90, which was a well laid out flat with living-room/diner (including double pull out sofa bed), master bedroom, bathroom, and hallway with well equipped kitchenette. Perhaps the name "luxury" in Embassy Luxury Hotel was stretching things a bit, but this did not detract from the comfortable, well cleaned and serviced, and generally good standard of accommodation in the heart of things. Friendly staff, which even if we never met personally, were most helpful before and during our stay via email and phone. We would stay there again.

This was a lovely place to stay. It was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. P3 parking just a block away. There's a little church in front of it and we always knew where we were staying when we could locate the church. The only problem we had was we couldn't access the television. The remote was broken and glued together. After 3 days they finally replaced it. In all a very pleasant stay in a central location. Would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was clean and had plenty of room for two people. We found the location very good since we walked from the bus terminal and also walked around town a lot. We were concerned about luggage storage, but it was available. There is a phone for local calls and in case anything is needed from the property manager.

I recommend taking the word "Luxury" out of the name. There was nothing luxurious about it. Would never stay there again. There were plenty of other options nearby.

This place was great for my husband and I. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Location is excellent! There's 3 bus stops right around the corner along with restaurants and shopping. Short walk to the city center and grocery store. The pond across the street is lovely too. Lots of ducks and swans The only issue I had was with the keypad for the apartment. Every time I would type the code in it wouldn't work half the time and it even locked us out of the apartment and set off an alarm.But it reset itself after a couple of minutes. I was not able to get ahold of anyone with the number because I couldn't make a call on my cellphone. There are phones in the rooms but since I couldn't get into the room it didn’t do us any good. I would recommend key cards instead if a pin. Overall it was a great stay. I especially loved the heated floor and towel rack in the bathroom.

I am glad you enjoyed your stay in spite of your problems with the electronic locks.There are instructions above the keypad explaining you need to touch it to acitvate it before entering the code. If you start entering the code before acivating the keypad, it only reiceives 4 numbers instead of 4We have a 24 hour phone service and there is a courtesy phone in the main foyerI am sorry your cellphone was not workingYou can buy an Icelandic sim card for your phone at the airport which makes life much easier

The aparrment was very comfortable and in an excellent location. It is quiet yet easily walkable to the grocery store, shopping and restaurants, and close to a bus stop. Check in was easy with clear instructions and responses to email were very quick. Highly recommend.

Furchtbar! Das Zimmer hatte nichts mit den präsentierten Bildern zu tun und befindet sich auch nicht in dem angezeigten Gebäude, sondern in einem kleinen alten Verschlag neben dem eigentlichen Gebäude. Das Zimmer war sehr klein, so dass gerade mal das Bett hineingepasst hat und das Bad roch einfach alt und stinkig. An der Wand hing ein Fernseher, welcher nicht funktionierte.

Nach so vielen sehr positiven Bewertungen hören wir von Ihnen, einem sehr unzufriedenen Gast. Um der Reihe nach zu antworten: Wir haben Studio-Apartments, etwa 20 m² groß, wie das, das Sie gebucht haben. Dann haben wir größere Apartments, Standard-Apartments und Apartments mit einem Schlafzimmer. Die Bilder auf Expedia sind wahr und korrekt. Jedes hat eine Beschreibung und sagt Ihnen, welchen Wohnungstyp Sie sehen. Das Bild der von Ihnen gemieteten Wohnung entspricht genau der Wohnung selbst.Das heiße Wasser in Reykjavik kommt aus tiefen Bohrlöchern und riecht manchmal nach Schwefel. Andererseits verbrennen wir weder Kohle noch Öl, um Wasser zu erhitzen.Der Fernseher verfügt über 76 Satellitenkanäle und wird mit ausführlichen Anweisungen geliefert. Es funktioniert ganz gut.Wir haben auch eine 24-Stunden-Telefonnummer, unter der Sie Hilfe und Informationen erhalten und schnell auf jedes Problem reagieren können.Sie haben uns während Ihres Aufenthalts nicht angerufen. Nicht um den Fernseher oder irgendetwas anderes. Wir hätten gerne geholfen

Ultra practical option with everything you might need, except the shampoo and soap were like water. 9/10 overall for the price compared to what else is available. The place is cozy and spacious for 1 person. 2 people would comfortably fit and even stay for a longer duration due to the practicality of the property. The location is prime. 8 min drive to Grotta Lighthouse (northen lights viewing), and a vast majority of Reykjavik's top attractions within a 15 min walk.

Centralt men i kælderplan uden udsigt
Vi boede virkelig centralt, men blev meget overraskede over at komme til en kælder lejlighed, hvor vi ingen udsigt havde. Et vindue var blændet af og det andet vindue som var et højt kældervindue havde kun udsigt til en mur. Der var en meget indelukket lugt, men pænt og rent. For os betyder det meget at kunne kigge ud, så vi bor ikke her igen.

Hi. Castle House is next door to the National Gallery of Iceland and directly behind the Free Church which stands on the embankment of the Tjörnin, the City Lake. It is the perfect placement in Reykajvik but a view of the lake and city hall is only available from the top floor balconies. Our ground floor apartment, where you stayed, has a large window. Your view form the window is mosty the church next door. If you walk a few steps towards the lake the view is perfect.
