Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal, nära till busstopp för bokade utflykter. Mycket restauranger och butiker runt hotellet.

Först när vi kom så fick vi ett rum som luktade avlopp, gick till receptionen för att säga till. De sa då att det var vanligt och följde med upp för att spola i kranen och vädra. De skulle komma tillbaka efter 20 min. Ingen kom och vi var hungriga så vi gick till receptionen och sa att vi går så får vi se efter det. När vi kom tillbaka så var lukten kvar så vi fick ett nytt rum. Nya rummet luktade gott. Hotellet ligger väldigt centrum och nära till allt. Frukosten var ok inte vad jag hade förväntat mig dock. Skulle inte säga att det var en fyrstjärnig frukost. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma vid bokningar.

Unexpected upgrade
When arrivning at the hotell it turned out it was closed as many ot other hotels due to Covid 19. No information had been given in advance even though we booked just 2 weeks before arrival, However we were transferred to Hotell Borg instead which is an excellent 5 star hotell in the middle of Reykavik.

Beautiful hotel, great location and amazing stay!
Very warm inside, perfect when you come back after a long day outside! The staff is professional and very friendly, I forgot to bring hair ties and asked if they were selling those in the reception and one of the girls gave me one of her own. Thank you! The rooms were not too big but very comfortable with great blinds to keep the sun out, and the bathroom was nice and clean. They serve cold breakfast and I prefer that over warm breakfast, but if you want egg and bacon you might have to go elsewhere. There is really only one thing that was not perfect, the small occupancy display on the toilet door were always on red. And as you can imagine, that really wasn't any problem!

Great hotel nearby the citycenter
A really cozy hotel nearby the city center and they had freeparking in the garage if you want to rental a car. I also loved the gym, cause they had more than a trademill and a bike. I can recommend this to others.

Vi var väldigt nöjda med vår vistelse. Sköna sängar och kuddar. Bra service. Trevlig personal. Kanske lite tråkig frukost men det fanns mat så det räckte. Trevligt att det fanns gym och bastu. Bra läge! Vi skulle bo här igen! Ett minus det luktade väldigt mycket kemikalier i korridorerna, kanske beror på nya heltäcknings mattor?

Väldigt trevligt hotell med bra service. Vet att flera kommenterat väldigt ung personal men ser ej det som något negativt. Väldigt trevlig och serviceminded personal. Nybyggt hotell så generellt väldigt trevligt skick och fina rum, bra produkter på rummet. Väldigt nöjd med vistelsen och rekommenderar starkt hotellet!

Loved our two night stay at Exeter Hotel! We were able to park our small camper van in the garage, but it’s very narrow in there. There’s free parking nearby. Breakfast was excellent! I highly recommend cured salmon and rye bread! Staff was very helpful. Our room was very nice and stylish with gorgeous view of marina and Harpa. My husband really enjoyed the sauna. We would definitely stay again!

The property was incredible value for the quality of the experience. The rooms are comfy and cozy. The soaps are locally made and very nice. The restaurant and bakery in the base of the hotel is low key and casual, but cool and fun. And the staff was warm and helpful. Great location away from a lot of the touristy noise and souvenir shops. Would definitely stay here again.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Wasser. Das Zimmer war klein aber absolut ausreichend und modern eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut.

Fantastic hotel in a superb location. Service is excellent and the bagel shop and Le Kock are fab. Got to try the garlic and parmesan potatoes in Le Kock and the smoked salmon bagels are out of this world! Location is fantastic for both the town and for the whale watching/Northern Lights. Bedrooms comfortable and bathroom was great. Not sure about the decor - our room looked like it hadn't been finished but it was a design choice apparently. Not my taste but some might like it. Really enjoyed our stay - we'll be back!

Disappointing place. Expensive for a small room with literally no view. Terrible breakfast. No espresso or cappuccino at breakfast. Only watery filtered coffee. Barely any fruit. Rude staff. It reminds me of a budget hotel yet it was 350 euro a night.

Great little place. Rooms are a bit small, but that just may have been the American in me. The staff was VERY FRIENDLY. They welcomed us in and check in took less than a minute. Great food options connected to the hotel, with the Kock to your left and a bakery by the entrance. Would definitely stay again!

The hotel is in a great location for Reykjavik visitors, very close to bus stop #4 if you are taking the Flybus from the airport. The restaurant options very close by are excellent. The staff at the hotel were very helpful, and the free breakfast very good. One thing to note for this hotel, is that the rooms can be very warm. Ask how to turn off the heat when your arrive, and crack a window.

Nice hotel to stay in Reykjavik. Please be aware that there is no free parking at the hotel itself, but they say you can park for free a few blocks away.

Thank you for the feedback! We recommend that you contact your travel insurance to compensate your lost day in Reykjavík due to bad weather. Unfortunately, the weather conditions are entirely out of our control.
