Summary:
Allow yourself some luxury and stay at this amazing penthouse two bedroom apartment.
Located right in the center of downtown Reykjavik. Althingi (Icelandic parliament), Harpa concert hall, Hallgrímskirkja and other landmarks are within few minute walking distance! The apartment is surrounded by restaurants, cafés and supermarkets.

The Space:
Fabulous luxury Two bedroom apartments located on the top floor with an amazing city view and a balcony. Bright living room with floor to ceiling windows, cozy dining area, fully equipped kitchen with oven, stove, microwave, fridge and a coffee machine. Bedroom with the most comfortable beds, soft sheets, black out curtains and total silence thanks to double glass windows. A private bathroom with walk-in shower, hair dryer, washer and dryer.
Being on the top floor you have total privacy.

Guest Access:
This is a private apartment so the guests have access to everything on the pictures.

The Neighborhood:
Right in the center of downtown Reykjavik. Parliament, Harpa, Hallgrímskirkja and other landmarks are only a few minutes away… walking! Surrounded by restaurants, cafés and located besides a supermarket.

3 day stay

The location was great. There were some things in the apartment that needed to be fixed. The bathroom door was rubbing against the floor. It took effort to open and close it. Not sure if we ever truly got it closed. The outside temperature was really cool and windy when we were there but the apartment was very stuffy. I had to open the back door to cool the place down but the door did not want to stay open. All other windows were very small and high off of the floor. I tried to reach out to the property manager but was told that they no longer managed the property and that I should contact the owner. So then I tried to reach out to the owner who never responded to my message. We were there for 3 days. Otherwise the unit was clean and the furniture was in good shape.

Luxury veneer

Excellent location! I wouldn’t call it a luxury apartment, but more a veneer. The place was glossed over for cleaning, but grime in the oven/kitchenware was apparent (even old toothpaste smears found on towels and toilet). Bathroom door needs a fix too. We also had issues with the fridge (they keep it turned off and we had to figure out the circuit breaker to give it power). The current property management company is through golden keys, not the heimalega that was listed during our stay so communication was a challenge. Be prepared to make international phone calls for help if you are a not a Iceland resident. Otherwise the location/balcony are exquisite! Grocery store is literally connected to the same building and you are right within walking distance of the fabulous Reykjavik downtown city center.

Great location and easy access

This property was perfect location and walking distance to just about all in downtown. Parking was easy and since we always left before 9 and came back after 4, it was free (or we parked on weekends). The only minor discomfort was that the shower was not enclosed and it made it harder for the kids to keep the water within the shower walls. Loved that this place had a washer/dryer. There was ample space for our family of 4 to spread out and great to have a kitchen to have breakfast before we head out for the day.

Amazing Location & Spectacular Views

This was the most perfect apartment we could’ve found! It slept four of us very comfortably and had plenty of room to hangout! Everything was extremely clean, modern, easily accessed and in the heart of the city! It is more beautiful then the pictures online, the wraparound private deck gives you views of the entire city in every direction! There is a grocery store right next-door with amazing food and drinks! We were able to take the bus right near the apartment to anywhere we wanted to go. The Host was wonderful and quickly answered all my questions. Amazing Trip and can’t wait to return!

Beautiful penthouse

Perfect location in Reykjavik close to the main shopping and restaurant street. Very modern apartment with a breathtaking view over the rooftops. Comfortable to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Quiet at night. I would stay here again in without hesitation.
