“The lodge is a wonderful place to get away to birch trees and smell off clean pine air. Our lake view was amazing. The leaves were just beginning to show the onset of fall with few hues of red and orange. We took many walks around the property enjoying the woods and lake. The resort was quiet but people hanging out at the beach or fisherman taking their boats early in the morning. The pool and spa were used a few times. It should open early. The kitchen and dining were stocked to meet our needs....

“Spent four days in Minocqua at the Knotty Barrel Lodge. I have been spending summers in Minocqua for 30 years, there is nothing like this place. Perfect location, walking distance to town, easy for boat rental. There is a great supper club downstairs with a friendly staff (btw: noise from the restaurant is not an issue at all)The property is clean and so unique. “We celebrated a birthday at the Bridge Inn and it was the PERFECT couple of days. Such wonderful amenities, clean rooms, and the coffee bar in the lobby is missing nothing! The two cleaning gals we talked to were so very helpful and friendly. They are certainly essential to this place. The patio/balcony is a private little area to enjoy morning coffee on, watching the river come to life each morning. We are coming back to celebrate our anniversary because this area has everything we want,...

“The property is beautiful. Lots of outdoor places to sit and relax. The inside is spacious. Beds are comfortable. Everything was clean. Fully equipped kitchen and a large gas grill on the deck. The property is on a corner so you have access to Eagle Lake and also access to the channel leading to Catfish lake. Very nice sunsets. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.”
