Our stay at The Lakehouse was lovely, and very memorable. It's position, the excellent service provided by the staff and the relaxing, early 20th century feel of the place, was wonderful, and we were sad to leave.

The room was clean, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. This was our 3rd time back at The Lakehouse, and it never disappoints. The breakfast provided was wonderful and delicious too

We had a great stay here. The hotel staff took good care of us. Breakfast was nice. We had steamboat dinner which was also nice. We will definitely come back, hopefully soon.

Service was extremely good, and since the hotel does not have many rooms and therefore not many guests, the staff were very attentive. Every morning our car was wiped, a small gesture, but nonetheless we felt pampered.

Quaint hotel in the Cameroon Highlands

This is a quaint hotel in the Cameroon Highlands. Here you can enjoy high tea in the afternoon or in the evening you can sit before the fireplace and enjoy a drink. Because of the high elevation it is cool in the evenings so that you can sleep with the bedroom window open and enjoy the cool night air. The hotel has a classical feel with all the modern conveniences. The food is excellent in the restaurant. We will definitely come again if we are ever in the highlands again.

Beautiful and rustic european style property with serene views and tranquility. Nice lounge and restaurant serving delicious food although pricey. The breakfast was awesome. Staff and services were very good. The most surprising and unique service was the complementary daily car wash. Highly recommended to those who look for a relaxing and authentic Cameron Highlands experience.

Overall speaking, it is a good experience - the staff are friendly, old fashion construction. But, really really complete on the bathroom - bathtub water drains just slow, furthermore, the construction of shower bath room just totally room, it cannot stop the water from shower "flow" out. after shower, the whole bathroom just "flood"

Stunningly beautiful hotel

This hotel is very beautiful and well-maintained. The hotel buildings as well as the garden has been given a lot of care, although the surrounding area is, at least for the time being, not as nice as the hotel itself: constructions are going on by the lake, making the area a bit less charming than it probably is normally. The room was fantastic: spacious, romantic, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The reception area, as well as the breakfast hall, library and bar are all as cosy as it gets. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We took the complimentary one-hour guided tour, which was nice but perhaps not leaving us in awe. All in all, this hotel offers a superb escape with its magnificent interior/exterior and garden. Many of the most beutiful and attractive places in Cameron Highlands are just a few kilometers away from the hotel. We will come back!

Wonderful house, excellent service, good food (if anything, the portions were too generous). The gardens are the highlight, flower borders, etc - much nicer version of England compared to the original. Development encroaching in the valley, but there isn’t much the hotel can do about that I suppose.

Check-in was efficient & straightforward, staff explained the facilities & dining selection available Welcome drink & hot towels were readied for everyone - Priya is commendable Housekeeping standards for the rooms are good, with the nice touch of towels for everyone The extra bed was setup without any drama & the staff takes the time to show you to the room & gives a brief description of the room amenities Ample parking available, a small garden with nice flowers & several areas to relax & chill in front of the fireplace A lot of effort must’ve been put in to update modern touches while maintaining the heritage & Tudor style Looking forward to EV chargers in the near future Breakfast is typical English, style & portions, & the buffet spread is decent
