Rancher i Rio Celeste

Actually it was not in the hotel but to a place close by because we booked the family room which has a kitchen Which is good especially when it is rainy i prefer to cook. “A great choice in this area for a budget property. Room was very clean, staff was friendly. We were entertained in the morning by a troop of Capuchin Monkeys while eating the included breakfast.”

“This is a very unique house in a very quiet and peaceful location. We only visited for 1 night so we did not get to enjoy it as much as we could have. Small miscommunication with our booking but as we went on an evening tour, things were straightened out and all was well by the time we returned. This would be a very fun place for a group of friends as there was a big field to play in, tons of beds, and a big covered communal area to play games. “The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!”

“Tidy and roomy, but bed was too firm for me and no hot water. It was very difficult for the taxi driver to find the location due to no address, or sign. We finally had to call them for directions. Maria and hubby were very accommodating, but said they couldn't do anything about the lack of hot water until the next day due to needing a part. They acted as taxi drivers to get us to the park and also to La Fortuna, stopping at stores as needed along the way. Super nice! They don't speak English,...

“The house is extremely well designed and functional with a beautiful garden. They paid attention to so many details, such as supplying useful items for comfort in the house and for exploring the area. We really appreciated the breakfast food and snacks provided. The hiking trail down to the river is a gem. ”
