“No check-in - just walked in and made ourselves at home. The kitchen was very well equipped and as with all trailers and boats so efficiently aranged that it was a pleasure to use. Plentiful windows (with blinds easy to open/close) and a skylight let in ample light making the little place feel more spacious and a part of the outdoors. This place was called "Fawn House" and indeed earns its name. The little deer and their moms visit often. There is also an eagle's nest near by. The wonders!”

“Beautiful manicured setting overlooking a magnificent lagoon and beyond the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Protection Island National Wildlife Refuge, and the San Juan Islands and Mt Baker are visible.Everything about this house makes you want to spend time there. It’s a multiple year vacation choice for us and we’ve booked 2026 already. “Location is amazing, quiet and neat residential area with access to gorgeous beaches and nature walks. It was so lovely to have as a home base for exploring Olympic National Park (about 30 minute drive to closest entrance and a couple of hours to other entrances.) “What a find!! Ed's cottage is wonderful, the cottage itself is cozy and cute and the property has lovely views and beach access. Ed was very welcoming and kind and even included the tide schedule for our stay as well as local recommendations. Add in the close proximity to Port Townsend and the cottage had a full kitchen, it was absolutely wonderful. I'll be back, that's a guarantee. ”
