âThe property was in excellent condition, with all utilities of a high standard.
All communication prior to and after arrival were first class. The check-in procedure was clear and simple and without any problems.
The location was very good for us, reasonably close to the main attractions, with public transport nearby if required. There are also shops nearby for groceries etc if required.
Overall, the apartment contributed greatly to a lovely stay in New Orleansâ

Vi kollade aldrig in lilla poolen pĂ„ insidan. Hotellet Ă€r super nĂ€ra bourbon street och det mesta som Cafe du Monde etc. Vi var nöjda! â

âWe stayed at this hotel for our anniversary and to go to a concert. The location was perfect for where we wanted to go and we were able to walk everywhere. Our room was great, the hotel restaurant was great, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The one thing about the room that I have anything negative to say about is the pillows. For an upscale hotel, the pillows were terrible. We felt like we should have brought our pillows from home. Overall, a very nice stay.â

âThis is a beautiful hotel, it has real French charm. Rooms are beautiful, comfy beds. Sheets could be bit softer. Service is great, love the coffee/tea service at your door each morning. Breakfast was delightful. Loved the speakeasy room and love the decor of the bar area. We will be back!â

âThis is an exceptional property. It is an oasis hidden in the middle of the French Quarter. After a long day of walking, it was such a treat to cool off in the pool. The complimentary drinks in the pool house were an extra treat. The rooms are beautiful and quiet with plush towels and crisp sheets. Thank you Shaun and Anthony for making our stay so wonderful. We will be returning. â

âI loved my stay at the Fontenot. Staff is exceptional. Cleaning is great. You can tell there's an active effort to maintain the hotel, which is great to see. The hotel is rather lovely and quite charming. The local area however is definitely mixed bag. It's perfectly safe and beautiful during morning and peak sunlight hours. Beyond that, it's just more of a hand toss. Like if you're a lady, it's probably best to avoid solo walks outside at night. Call an Uber to and from the Hotel lobby.â

âAbsolutely wonderful stay! The building was old and classy, there was a cute pool, powerful air-conditioning, free bottled water, and it was a quick walking distance from shops and restaurants. The best part has to be the friendly staff, and the three cats in the lobby! â

âProperty was in a convenient location. 4 minutes walk to casino. 10 minute walk to bourbon st. Best part is we didnât have to deal with the nightlife unless we wanted too. Corner store in the corner.â

"Great and nice security people.
Bad cleaning 3 out of 4 days (towels looked dirty, half made bed, old plastic cup left on table etc). Tried to tip extra to get better cleaning, but no. When we did not tip, the cleaning was good, so probably we tipped wrong person.
Tried breakfast in the bar, but waiting time was long and the serving was stopped in the kitchen at the same time we got to order.
Interior in public areas are beautiful. Pool area nice, but really cold water. Good location. "
