“Such a phenomenal experience! The place is tucked away, though the woods and in the middle of pastures with horses on one side and alpacas on the other. Beautiful, secluded, quiet. We got a chance to enjoy the full gamut, and the kids loved every second of it -- from meeting and feeding the alpacas (as well as a super cute baby deer rescue) to watching a polo match on Saturday evening.Mary and Pino were very responsive, welcomed us onto the property and gave us a tour, and made us feel like...

“Excellent stay, beautiful sunset views from hot tub. We had a wonderful time making s’mores in the fire pit. The house had plenty of space for six adults and two babies. Lots of toys for the lil ones and pack play was super helpful. Very close to Luray and fort valley ranch for horseback rides. The host was super responsive, thank you! ”

“My husband and I loved our stay at the cottage. First, we arrived after dark entrance into the cottage was easy. When entered the cottage it was truly magical. There was a beautiful Christmas tree. The large beautiful king size bed was decorated for Christmas and the bed was very comfortable. The cottage was warm and comfortable. The scenery was both pristine and fun. “A very nice practical house for a group of 6-7. Clean & cheerful with a nice layout. Our family was here for a wedding, so there was a wide age range, and we all had a good gathering area, as well as some privacy with the upstairs bedrooms. The futon couch wasn't very comfortable to sit on & an end table between the couches would have been nice. But it had everything we really nice. Thank you!”

“The cottage was well appointed and fun. The bathroom and bedroom are on different levels so be prepared for that. It was nice having the hot tub but it had a ton of bugs in it. The views and land were beautiful. Never able to find the animals and the office was closed on a Sunday so no one to ask for assistance. The directional arrows at the property are very confusing. ”

The only recommendation is to buy some lounge chairs for deck or outside sofa for friends to lay and gather after a long hike. Maybe sectional in living too. Beds were comfortable. Lovely way to bring on the big 40!!”
