Cozy Cottage in Cave Spring

A beautiful cottage perfectly located within the Roanoke area. Dawn is a wonderful host and the cottage has all you could ask for. Very cozy and relaxing retreat at the end of the day.

Perfection

Dawn and Franco have made a wonderful oasis close to town. The studio unit, decor, attention to detail, and their communication were all amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a get away!

I had the pleasure of staying at this lovely property again recently. No detail is out of place. The owners do a wonderful job making it feel as if you “live” there. Still my new favorite place to stay in Roanoke!

One of the best experiences I have had as the owners are extremely responsive although you will need them for much of nothing! The serenity and nature were awesome if you like wildlife…this place was very well done and very spacious for the money! Will be back again :-)

Celebrating Our 31st Anniversary

We enjoyed our stay immensely and Dawn is an excellent host!! The cottage is very comfortable, inviting and well appointed, with every detail attended to. The property is very nice and our pup loved walking around.This is in an excellent location, easy to get to anywhere from Salem within 30 minutes for the Dixie Caverns, antiques and El Rodeo Mexican restaurant or downtown Roanoke within 15 minutes to the museums, shops and restaurants.We further have to say this cottage has been one of the nicest we have ever stayed in and were so happy to have found it!

Absolutely perfect! Dawn and Franco are the perfect hosts. Their cottage is beautiful and welcoming at the same time. We brought our dog Lucy who was enchanted by the deer’s that roam their property.We ended up extending our stay by one night due to a medical emergency and they were more than understanding.They opened up their ho is with wine and a charcuterie board.We hope to stay there again in the future.

Wonderful Cozy Cottage

I was completely impressed as soon as I walked in. The bed is super comfy. The space is well decorated. The owners supplied the essentials. Unfortunately my trip was cut short due to the snow storm but I do plan to stay there again.

Best Kept Secret

Beautiful and comfortable. Private and quiet. Rivals any luxury hotel suite in town. A wonderful rental. Hosts very responsive and helpful. I would rather not share how much I enjoyed this rental, lest it become too popular! This will definitely be my first choice any time I am in Roanoke!

I (and my little dog) just spent 2 wonderful weeks at the cottage and we loved it! It is a beautiful studio cottage surrounded by gorgeous property and nature - deer sleep there and the owners have dogs, ducks, a friendly cat, and a bunny that is always out and about. Comfortable and beautiful furnishings, and peacefully quiet - I will be returning in the summer!

The flexibility and compassion of the host was outstanding. I was there during the birth of my first grandchild and a major storm. This was my fourth stay there so obviously that says a lot. The cottage feels like home!
