“It was easy to get from the Avignon TGV station. Tge no. 20 bus, then a very straight 15 minute walk right into the centre of Avignon. To be fair, the property didn’t look that inviting from outside, but once we’d opened the door, it quite took our breath away. So cosy and cute. Everything we needed. It was cool, which was good as it was 28’ outside. Carrefour, a bar, boulangerie etc all within 50m of the apartment. The check in and communication with the owner was very good too. Would...

“The apartment is beautifully restored in a historic building, in the dead center of the walled city (old town) of Avignon, within 3 minute walk to the Papal Palace. There is an incredible view into a landmark basilica from one bedroom. Some precarious stairs to the second floor (3rd level from the ground). The communication with the host and instructions on basic issues like check-in and WiFi could have been a bit more streamlined. Overall good find.”
