“The cabin is truly off the grid (it had power and water etc.) but I mean about 2 miles of dirt road off the grid. So if you want to be in a quiet secluded area that was peaceful and full of trees and animals this place is great. We also enjoyed the fact that the host was very artistic which shows in her decor of artwork on the walls and in the remarkable artistic craftsmanship of the cabin. “Cabin was for hunters or bikers not so much ages 69-90. AC was a wall unit in the living room. You needed to stand on furniture to adjust. It did work.
No AC in either bedroom with limited plug ins. Less than 2 foot door openings to bathroom and one of the bedrooms. It was clean. It did not come with kitchen dish towels. Maggie was helpful our first night. We did not ask for anything after her helping us with ice. It is a great location in Hill City to reach all the sights in the area. Quiet...
