“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was even more impressive than the photos showed. It was nice for the kids to each have their own rooms with queen beds, and the master bedroom had a king bed that was also really comfy. Sitting on the patio listening to the waves was relaxing, and the assortment of games provided some entertainment during our down time. The AC did have some issues keeping the place cool with heat indexes outside over 100…but when I reached out to the owner...

My only complaints, which is minor, we could have used pool towels and more bath towels. Primary closet was locked so would have liked a wardrobe to hang clothes in. "The lodge is nice and charming. Pool areas good and water clean. The rooms are dated, but ours was clean and good. The bar and restaurants are okay. I guess the staff is Midwest nice, but maybe a little bit lazy. I don’t get the feeling anyone would go the extra mile to make my stay better. But with the price tag it’s good value for money, I would go back."
