“Nice little cottage with charme, lovely decorated and well equipped. It had everything we needed. Short walk to a nice quiet beach, but way back is steep. We felt at home and loved the little treats like fresh flowers.”

“We spent 7 nights at Moana Cove and felt like we had been transported to a far away island, except it was just a hop, skip and a jump away! We loved walking through the bush to beaches, kayaking through the mangroves, walking through Mansion House, visiting the boat club for a meal is a must! And lazy sunny afternoons reading and watching the tide go in and out. Sharon and Rob were great hosts, giving us privacy but always incredibly helpful if we needed anything. Hope to be back!”

“Loved the country atmosphere, peaceful and quiet. Cottage had all the mod cons. Very roomy with two bedrooms and bathroom laundry, we made use of. Easy access to shops and restaurants, and of course the starry nights topped it off. Thanks Sue for letting us stay there….”

“It was a good space for our extended family, nice view, handy to the shops and near the beach. The house wasn't very clean, looked like a rush job. And the shower in the ensuite off the queen bedroom had no water flow, we had to use another one.”

“Great location, Apartment very clean and well appointed. A great place to relax and is very handy to shops and right across from beachfront. Very comfortable with everything you need for a relaxing break. Sitting on the deck and looking a the wonderful view was just lovely. Will definitely stay again.”

“Lovely relaxing weekend with friends. House was clean and spacious. Close to the beach and easy to get to restaurants and cafes in Matakana.Only quibble was that the guest information folder was a bit minimal and also hard to find.”
