“We were happy with the rental. Very clean and everything we needed. Our grandsons enjoyed the game room.Only suggestion i would make is a few more towels and rolls of toilet paper for the guests”

“We enjoyed our stay quite a bit. Communication with the owners was quick, checkin and check out was seamless. It was nice to have access to a full kitchen and laundry room. We were a bit hot without AC, but that’s just us being nitpicky. We rented a pontoon from B&B marina across the lake, and returned it to the marina at night. We didn’t get much use out of the dock access, mainly because we rented the pontoon and didn’t need to. Overall, We highly recommend this rental!”

“The property was as shown in the pictures very cozy and an awesome back yard to enjoy a fire and stare gaze. The only down fall was the shower, it felt like i was taking a bird bath no pressure from the nozzle which made me disappointed and also Higgins Lake was Not a 2 min walk more like a 15min drive but its close enough from the cabin to enjoy the lake and scenery. The kitchen was big and had everything you needed overall I'd like to return if shower head was replaced and thougts about adding...

“Our family had a great time for a long weekend at the cottage. We did some kayaking on the Ausable River, fishing on the lake and spent lots of time around the fire pit. The house had a few quirks, but that is just a function of being an older house. It was very well maintained and clean and had plenty of beds for our extended family to sleep in. The owner provided clear instructions and was prompt with communication and responding to questions.”

“The cottage is absolutely adorable! We enjoyed a weekend there for Tip Up Town and even though it was freezing, it was an easy walk on the lake to the beer tent and a short walk on the road to the Limberlost. The host was communicative. It was a great stay! ”

“Updated cottage with all the essentials! I appreciated having a small front and backyard with grass for the dog. Unfortunately the lake access nearby doesn’t allow dogs, so we had to go elsewhere. No AC was a bit difficult as we were there in hot weather. Neighborhood was quiet and relaxing. ”

“Right on the water for fishing and boating. Kayaks, small fishing boat and paddle boat provided. Great fishing. Close to downtown Mio to go shopping and out to eat. Close to the river to go rafting. ”

“We had a lovely time at this beautiful little cottage. Absolutely beautiful sunsets. There is not a beach but the lake has a sandy bottom that you can walk out quite a ways and it still stays shallow.”
