“A very comfortable twin share room with two beds including one queen sized bed. Couldn’t fault the room, the greeting at reception, however during the depths of Winter, arriving at 6.30pm, having the front window shut and perhaps some low setting of heating would have been more inviting on arrival. Even after more than an hour with the heater then put on, the room had only partially warmed up. Even then sleeping at night time was best with the electric blanket on a low setting. “The cabin was clean and comfortable but poorly insulated as the heater struggled to keep it warm. There were plenty of blankets, so we didn’t feel the cold at night. The TV remote control didn’t work. The site is well situated next to the river and provides good cooking facilities with a fully equipped camp kitchen and an outdoor barbecue. The whole area was teaming with bird life. ”
