“Simply fantastic! We found this converted monastery by accident. The building is beautiful, as are the gardens and surroundings. Very tranquil and peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant, and it was excellent. The breakfast was one of the best I have eaten! Special mention to the "savory monk's cake" - delicious! My only small complaint is that the rooms are not exactly soundproof. But I can live with that, the rest is just wonderful.”

“This is a gem, located about 10 km east of Siena, that is if you have access to a car for transport. The hotel lies next to the highway, so it is easy to get in to and out from Siena, but still at sufficient distance from the highway not be bothered by it. Instead you will find yourself in the middle of a beautiful rural landscape, with a vineyard on one side and a small village on the other. “A fantastic lovely place to stay close by Montalcino. Tranquil, stunning view and very cozy atmosphere and rooms. Capanna wines are wonderful and the only downside was that the fine dining restaurant which we visited before and looked forward to enjoying again was closed the two days we spent there. However Montalcino is a beautiful little place with many good restaurants and cozy atmosphere so there’s always other options. Will definitely come back!”
