“The property itself has a lot of potential to be a great place with minimal effort. However, it clearly showed its age. Living room furniture was stained. Owner did provide sheets to cover at our request so we could sit. One of the bedroom window shades was broken and it took owners five days to respond after our request to fix it. As we were leaving day after, we told them not to bother. We also had to ask for additional towels as the ones provided were not sufficient for four people staying...

“We enjoyed our stay at this rustic house in Douro valley. Fatima was very kind and helpful, and took the time to answer all my questions, in spite of having a family emergency. The location is pretty remote, so make sure to pick up groceries and essentials en route. I think a car is a must. The views are spectacular.
