“I felt a fairy would pop out of the woods. The place is as quiet and quaint as you could ask. Overwhelmingly warm and full of charm. The place has peace and a personality that is all its own. We had many adventures in the area, but we always looked forward to settling down in the hot tub, relaxing by the stove, and having a peaceful night's sleep. This is a one-in-a-million location. We will always have the fondest of memories of 66.”

“Very well appointed, well equipped restored cabin with bucolic views of acres of vineyards. It is located in a one lane road that could frighten some off. It’s a short ride into Healdsburg and surrounding attractions. The owners are friendly and hands on and responded to every need promptly. We loved this spot and would do it all over again.”

“We loved the home in the woods. Although it rained all three days of our early March visit, the home was clean, spacious and cozily warm. We enjoyed the gas fire place and had fun playing games on the big dining room table. The house was a short drive to town where we found excellent restaurants and interesting shops for browsing. We'd like to return in the summer to lounge on the decks and walk in the woods.”

“Very quiet and tranquil. Place was clean, creek was clean, we had everything we needed. Supplies for the dogs are available, the place is well stoked for cooking in and grilling in the patio. We wish we booked more days, 5 wasn’t enough !!”

“The creekside property was exactly as expected. Wanted to get out of the city for my pup that’s extremely afraid of fireworks for new years. What a quiet and peaceful retreat! Photos represented the property well and access was easy. A lovely getaway from the city for a few days. Very close to the coast with lots of dog friendly beaches. Hope to be back soon!”

“My family enjoyed the property as it was big enough for everyone and pet friendly. We stayed during the rainy months and enjoyed playing games and cuddling up near the fire place. I strongly caution the very steep driveway. If you have a four wheel drive, that is preferred especially if it is wet out. Otherwise good accommodations.”

“Quaint, quiet and peaceful stay”

“This river side home was perfect for a few rainy days away during the holiday break with the family. It would be great during summer with it being right across the street from the Russian River. Our teens loved hanging out in the basement game room. Beds were comfortable and the wood for the stove was well stocked (once we found the kindling). Only small complaint were that the appliances are a little outdated but really we had everything we needed.”

“The house was nice in a beautiful location with lots of green. The tea house that was separate from the main house seemed to have some leaks or water coming into the walls. It was very musty and moldy smelling. We opened the windows and aired out the space to make it bearable, but it was still noticeable. Otherwise, the place was fine.”

“We had a nice time staying at Foxwood for a second time. We stayed last July. This house is cozy & has a great location close to River, beach , guernville, redwoods etc… it’s well equipped with comfortable beds, good lighting, games, it was nice soaking in hot tub after a long day of hiking. And we also enjoyed doing puzzles & board games on a rainy Friday. We will return again. The only thing we would recommend is that the kitchen could use a set of measuring cups & a sheet pan, griddle pan for...

“Jujube was perfect for my husband and I and our 2 labs. It’s so close to everything you would want; coast, redwoods and wineries. The dogs loved the river access and small beach a few doors down. Highly recommend this small but well equipped cottage. Thank you Bridgette for sharing your place!”
