âI have travelled with my family around the world and this would have to be our favorite Hotel so far. It doesnât feel like a hotel, but rather an upscale serviced apartment. The room size is big and spacious and the location is absolutely fantastic with restaurants and transportation all around you. The staff are super nice with suggestions for dining, for currency exchange places, transportation advice, so on and so on.

âWe had a lovely stay. Mr. Ryo went above and beyond to welcome us and help us procure dinner reservations for our large family group. Our room was well appointed, attractive, and comfortable. The bathroom was like a spa!
A fifteen minute walk in various directions got us to exciting markets, or the train station, or high-end shops.

âIf you are looking for a traditional ryokan experience, then this is the ryokan for you. The ryokan provided comfortable yukata for guests to wear including to breakfast and the kaiseki, hosted in a beautiful restaurant with views of the garden. The traditional Japanese breakfast (included in price of stay) was different and delicious each morning, and the kaiseki was a unique experience, although expensive. The tatami beds were comfortable and the barrel style tub in the room was delightful....
âThis property is very close to Kodai-ji, which was very convenient. Also, the host washed, dried, and folded our laundry (a family of 5) while we were out seeing the sites. This was incredibly helpful. Another highlight of our stay was the wonderful welcome tea and tasty breakfast provided during our stay. Although it was a bit more expensive than other options, these benefits were well worth the additional cost.â

âAll was great. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to access. Great location, with Nishiki Market, countless restaurants, and grocery nearby. The only minor complaint I have is the slowness of filling the hot tub on the first day. On subsequent days it got better, however. The staff was very responsive through email.
