Short and easy walk to subway stations (3 different within 5-10 min) they even have a small but very decent gym and good easy storage for your luggage if arriving early or departing late. The hotel is stunning & perfectly located in the most historic & traditional part of Kyoto - literally a few steps away from a beautiful temple.
We would definitely recommend the Japanese breakfast option & the team in the restaurant were incredibly attentive and accommodating of my wife’s dietary requirements - nothing was too much trouble.
