“Smell of urine when we first walked up to the door to check in! Carpet in the room was so dirty and paint on it plus paint splatters on the wall… shower curtain was torn and could not get the bathwater to turn all the way off… brought us a hairdryer since there was none in the room and it would not work. I have stayed in hotels for some 30 years in this ranks is one of the worst!!”

“Close to freeway for easy travel, but no noise from freeway. We have stayed here several times over the years and staff is always very helpful. Breakfast is always very good. We checked out at 3:30 am to head home and they had a breakfast to go bag for us .”

“We stayed at this hotel many years ago before it became a Holiday Inn. Very pleased with the upgrades. Very comfortable and a great breakfast. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“Nicely remodeled hotel. Restaurant onsite great location for business or shopping. Major mall across the street. Big outdoor pool. Parking or an issue. Room was clean and fresh looking with total remodeling.”

“The elevator area has spider webs you have to get around in the doer ways to get into it. The elevator looks as though it’s never been cleaned. The walls are so thin you can hear the other people next doo whispering”

“Trashy hotel, room was musty smelling, Chair and ottoman had the vinyl peeled off a good protion, Furniture looked about 30 years old and beat up sdiscolored etc. Being right on the freeway the room was very noisy. The outside of the place had homeless peole wandering around including by the motion sensor door that got the bouncer looking dude up to follow him. I basically walked in the room and walked out told the desk I was checking out and wanted a refund. THey said check with my third party...

“The building is an early Portland mansion that’s been maintained well and upgraded to some extent, keeping the charm of the era in which it was built but meeting the standards of today.
