I also did not use any of the other amenities (fitness room/whirlpool/business center) so I can't speak to those. “The room looked like it had been a nice hotel once, but needs updating. Not the worst I’ve stayed in but also not a hotel I’d go out if my way to recommend to others. “The pool was clean but I was disappointed that the hot tub was completely gone when they said they had one and also had pictures of one on the website. The hallways smelled like it was a friendly 420 place. The rooms did smell clean but when you walked into the hallways it was horrible. Staff was friendly and rooms seemed spacious but would not recommend staying at this location if you’re looking for something nice. Luckily we did a staycation and just wanted to swim. ”

“The man that runs this business is great. He remembers who I am each time I return to his motel. It makes me feel special. He's always very kind and friendly. He is always available to help me out with anything I need and to give advice about places nearby. My girlfriend and I have chosen this motel every time we go to Portland for the kind staff, comfortable beds and very low prices. Also it's near plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Great place to stay! ”
