“Beautiful older style property, quiet with great character and charm. Easy check in and out .Perfect base for Disneyland and French countryside. Plenty of space and well equipped.Very pretty courtyard gardens and plenty of outside seating.Would recommend for those with slightly older children and teenagers due to stairs to living accommodation Would definitely return in the future ”

“This was a real oasis of peace and quiet after days out visiting Paris, Disneyland and the local area. There was plenty of space and even horses to visit outside! Highly recommend every part of it - especially visits to Paris (park at Marles-en-Brie and check the train times!) and locally to Provins (though be warned it gets busy in the French holidays!). We very much hope we can return soon.”

“This Gite is one of our favorites and it was the second time we’ve stayed there. The owners are lovely and so accommodating. They provide more than you need for a comfortable vacation and true French experience. For all of you history buffs, it’s only one town over from Belleau a huge WWI site (battle of Belleau Bois). It’s so close to Paris however there’s no reason to go there since there’s so much to do in this region alone. You must have a car to enjoy but that’s true of the countryside....

Il s’agit lĂ  d’un petit bijou de bien ĂȘtre, idĂ©alement situĂ© dans la rĂ©gion Ăźle de France mais complĂštement dĂ©paysant, le dĂŽme rĂ©pond Ă  tous les critĂšres d’une nuitĂ©e sous le thĂšme de la relaxation. La faune et la flore rendent l’expĂ©rience d’autant plus magique, Ă  plusieurs reprise lors de la dĂ©tente dans le spa des Ă©cureuils prenaient le plaisir de sauter de branches en branches devant nos yeux. DiffĂ©rente variĂ©tĂ© d’oiseaux nous accompagnaient Ă©galement....

“Very neat old house in the garden of the abbey and next to the house of the property owner. Very warm welcome, great parking spot for the car and walking distance to the local boulangerie and shops. Good location for champagne wine tours. The towns (Essome-sur-Marne as well as Chateau-Thierry) are not as lovely as the small villages on the Montagne de Reims. Great walking routes in the area with lots of WWI and WWII historical sites.”
