However it is just a quick drive and you are able to enjoy all the wonderful restaurants and wine estate for which St Emillion is famous for. “Big villa with generous bedrooms. Really nice pool in the sun (and very private). Great location with loads to do in the (drivable) area*. Only downside was the village was very quiet (does have a small shop and good pharmacy). So, it’s perfect if you have a car. Property manager was great, easy to get hold of if needed and helpful. * st emillion (+ cave tour and wine tasting) * truffade steam train * perigueux ruins * sainte foy le grande market * Bordeaux ~hour drive * kayaking 10/15 mins...
