“The staff is what makes an average Marriot stay great. From the doorman to the housekeepers all were friendly and very helpful. The facility has long distances between the hotel and amenities. The rooms are average and dark, including the bathroom. Tried the Italian restaurant and waited over an hour for the main course. I would not come back.”

“Do NOT get the ocean view rooms. They will play loud music til 10-10:30 every night in a big sand pit not 50 yards from the tower you will be in. Beautiful place put this really killed the vibe”

“Did not ever receive a ride on the golf carts. Even had to tote our suitcases up the two hills to our room. This is a resort that most definitely caters to the members. We are not members and it was noticeable. The location is great if you love Coki Beach (easy walk over to beach). The restaurant is good, with hefty quantities of food (albeit priced accordingly). The "shows" at night are hit and miss with some being fairly entertaining and others a complete waste. Staff was generally kind...

“What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Little touches everywhere were not overlooked by my family. ”
