“Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area. There is a paying car park next door which was £12 for 24 hours.”

“The Pack Horse is a lovely old pub with friendly staff that were most helpful. We stayed 1 night, the room was comfortable and was ideal for our stay. They also provided plenty of tea and milk which was a bonus. The only downside is they do not do food but there is a fish & chop shop or takeaway that you can order and bring into the pub to eat.”

“Great little hotel right in the centre of town. Delicious breakfast and super friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again.”

“A good location for us with plenty of parking. Room was clean, but ours had a very tired bed mattress which really needed replacing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during our stay and food and drinks were all reasonably priced.”

“Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...

“Lovely place, lovely setting. Convenient for a Plymouth but quiet and picturesque, fantastic walks along the Yealm. And a great pub.”

“Hotellet ovanpå en bar låg mitt i "city". Sneda och vinda väggar och golv samt sängar som knappt satt ihop gjorde sömnen lite orolig. Rent och snyggt men ganska trånga rum. Annars lugn och tyst och bra betjäning både till middag och frukost. Mycket att se i området. Trevlig by med små butiker.”
