“We had a lovely stay at Mad River Valley. The location was perfect for our waterfall/swimming hole adventures and almost daily visits to downtown Waitsfield. The check-in was straight-forward and the home, as expected. Due to the unexpected scorching heat/humidity a couple of nights, the bedroom fans came in handy, as did the washer and dryer. Only regret was not checking out the wooded trails on the property as we spent all of our daytime hours adventuring and exploring nearby. It was a nice...

“The hotel was so charming and had such historic character. I was very comfortable and enjoyed the aesthetic. I did arrive in late evening (930 pm) on a Friday. Was welcomed and checked in. Did not realize that all the local restaurants, convenience stores, food carry out delivery closed by 8 pm. It would be nice to have a food option for hungry arrivala or let people know there won’t be anything available nearby after 8 pm. ”

“We have a wonderful stay at this beautiful home near Waitsfield! It was comfortable and inviting and the kitchen had everything we needed to create a July 4th feast! The home was clean and spacious and very close to grocery stores and coffee shops and great restaurants. A 5 star vacation!”
