We did not have cell phone reception because of the mountains and no way to contact the owner. No one was around to check us in.”

“We weren’t given check in instructions and had to call (they responded promptly but still frustrating as we didn’t know where to go or what our door code was). Hot tub was fully booked (the entire reason we came) so we didn’t get to use it. Store was sold out of almost everything. We were woken up in the middle of the night to someone possibly chopping wood? Sounded like it was a tree getting hit by lightning repeatedly for 30 mins. Scared us all. And I left with a screw in each of my back...
