Helt nya 240 kvadratmeter 3 sovrum (2 master sviter) hem mitt framför Samaná Bay (känd för valskådning från januari till mars) i säkert nya lyxiga stadsdel som innehåller en 5-stjärniga hotell, spa, restauranger, det berömda Café del Mar musik lounge och yacht marinan. Det finns massor av oskuld, vackra stränder som du kan besöka i 10 till 30 minuter med båt eller köra till, vi har en 70 "docka också tillgängliga för användning.

Beautiful place with amazing ocean view

We just spent two nights, but overall everything was amazing. The place same as in the pictures, place was clean and the staff is very friendly. They have a person watching the property even tho is safe becuase is inside a resort. I definitely would come back.

So fun!

The location was beautiful and we loved everything included! It is what you see. The beds are a little hard and we had some delays in contacting the manager for things. One room's AC wasn't working and the hot water wasn't always hot. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would totally go again!

Jim is a wonderful person to tent from he made sure all questions were answere within 24 hrs he took care of all our needs the villa and property are as advertised everything was so wonderful for the whole month we stayed ...we did not wanna leave ...i highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed it is so nice and perfectly kept up we are hoping to come back often now

Great villa on the marina

We enjoyed Villa Montaña 15 immensely. We came to Samaná specifically to spend Saturday doing a whale watching tour, and the property is only 10 minutes from the offices and dock where the tour begins. Positives of the property include high speed internet (very difficult to find in rental properties) which allowed our kids to be in online classes during the daytime without interruption, as well as use of the Smart TV with no streaming issues. The bedrooms are spacious and well kept, ensuite bathrooms as well. We fixed our own meals most of the time, and found that the kitchen had most items we wanted, including service for 8 people. We enjoyed the Ocean Club pool very much, with its infinity views overlooking the bay. During the week, there were plenty of sunchairs. We appreciated the towels that were offered as well. We ate at the Italian restaurant one evening and enjoyed the appetizers, but a few of the main dishes were not as tasty as we hoped they would be. The prices of the restaurant were very fair. We enjoyed seeing the boats (yachts) that were coming into the marina daily - they are beautiful. The mini-market on the grounds is VERY well stocked - I was surprised to find bacon and a good deli meat and cheese selection. The only negative that we found is that fact that there is no public or private beach on the grounds - the beaches of Samaná are gorgeous and one would have to drive to a different part of the province about 30-40 minutes away, or take the water taxi to Cayo Levantado (however, the rates for the trip were at $25 and for our group would not have been an affordable way to travel for a few hours to the beach). Martina is a great house keeper, however I don't believe she speaks English - we communicated with her in Spanish and were able to get all of our needs met easily.

A Dream!

I am definitely coming back. This house is so gorgeous, clean, and the views are to die for. The pictures are nothing compared to how beautiful this place really is. Having access to the hotel is such a plus. The whole complex is breathtaking in the evening and during the day as well. Martina the caretaker of the house is so sweet and nice! This house for the price it’s the best deal you’ll ever get. I absolutely loved it!

The house was beautiful, as was the entire property! Everyone at the resort was friendly and helpful. The food at the resorts was great and inexpensive. The Martina was an excellent cook. And was a great hostess .

Amazing View

What an amazing view! Lovely house, totally enjoyed staying in it. The showers were a bit confusing (using the hand-held vs. the rain-shower head) but no big deal we finally figured out. TIP: Turn on the hot water heater as SOON as you get there, then it'll be nice and ready for you the following morning. We were also told by another guest that there is a free boat at 11am every day that takes you to a nearby private beach.

Great accommodations and resort amenities

The only downfall of this place is there is no beach on site. There is a nearby island that you can reach a great beach with a 20 minute boat ride, however! Other gorgeous beaches are about an hour drove, but well worth it. This is an out of the normal tourist route place which was perfect for us.

Will Definitely Return

After spending 4 nights in this beautiful villa, our only regret is that we could not stay any longer. The villa is comfortable, spacious, well decorated, and well situated. You can lounge in the patio pool at the villa, or go for a short walk to the large infinity pool at the resort. You have access to a modern gym. You are a short boat ride to Cayo Levantado. It is the perfect vacation to relax and spend time with friends or family. Martina, was a skilled chef and took good care of us. We enjoyed her company. We hope to come back soon. Thanks Jim for your quick response to our reservations and your professionalism.

Fantastic quiet community

Fantastic off the beaten path location. Quiet safe place. This house worked out perfectly for our two families with teenagers but would also work for families with little kids. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Jim was incredibly easy to work with and always accessible by email. Martina was a wonderful help. Nothing better than waking up to some else making breakfast. Plenty of activities to do in the Samana area to keep us busy from discovering deserted beaches to the standard whale watching tours.

Great Samana scape and wonderful in-house service!

We had a blast enjoying the beauty of the Samana attractions and staying in this property had made this trip even more memorable with the convenient location and spacious design of the house. Jim, the host, had kindly reminded us before arrival, the greatest amenities of the house, which is the wonderful service of Ms. Martina who catered us with so many Dominican dishes that my family still talking about the experience. This was definitely the highly of my entire staying in Dominican Republic. I would've given this a 5 (or 6 star) rating if I hadn't had the inconvenience of Master BR's air conditioning unit.

Great experience.

This was my second visit to Puerto Bahía and the first time staying at Mr. Novack's villa. This villa is amazing, very pretty, and well equipped with everything you could need. Puerto Bahía is a great complex, very private and luxurious. I totally recommend it, and staying at Mr. Novack's villa will make your expierence even better. Don't forget to go to Cayo Levantado, there's a tour that departs daily from the Lobby of the Bannister Hotel wich is located inside Puerto Bahía, they also have great restaurants, and Martina the housekeeper of the villa is extremely nice so she can help with anything you need. I hope going back to this villa soon.

Wonderful house

This was the perfect place for our group to stay. Jim is a wonderful host, that is on top of everything, even if he is abroad. We felt very welcome at his home. The house is very comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely location. The small pool was perfect for a refreshing splash and there was a housekeeper that came every day to keep it cristal clean. Puerto Bahia seems to be quite new, and not very populated yet, so you do get to be in a very quiet place. The restaurant is ok, especially for pizzas, it does not have too many customers, so you should go to the safe options. The mini market at the marina has a good variety and looks neat, and it is always welcome to have someone deliver to the house a couple of beers or something you may have missed to pack for breakfast. If you are going whale watching, I think Puerto Bahia is the nicest place to stay and Jim's home was a great choice for us.

High Expectations Exceeded

The property looked fantastic on the HomeAway website, and the rave reviews led us to believe our eyes. But it was even better than we expected. The house is spacious, the view amazing, the facilities top notch. We were five adults—my wife and I, our two children, ages 28 and 26, and our daughter's boy friend, 34. The house afforded privacy when we wanted it, which was rarely, and the shared spaces were big enough that we never felt in each others' way. The kitchen was well equipped, linens and towels plentiful, and Martina, the housekeeper, was on hand every day and prepared a fabulous shrimp stew our last night. WiFi was reliable and fast. There was nothing lacking. Being situated in Puerto Bahia was another huge plus. The Bannister Hotel's facilities were available. In fact, when my son injured his toe, the hotel called a doctor, who tended it without charge in the hotel's up-to-date infirmary. The Cafe del Mar has wonderful food and a lovely infinity pool—from which, if you wanted to, you could descend by ladder and swim in the bay. Puerto Bahia was serene and beautiful and great to return to after a day on the road to Las Terrenas or Playa Rincon. Samana was a five-minute drive, and big enough to have ATMs, pharmacies, supermarkets, etc.
