“We loved our stay at Refugio del Volcan. We’ve been travelling through Central America for c 8 weeks and this accommodation stands out as one of the best. We had the apartment unit at the top, which has the most incredible views of the lake! The accommodation was very comfortable and quiet at night for a great night sleep. “Exceptional property. The room Overlooks the lake. I was able to catch sunrise as the cabin was east facing. The room had one double bed and a clean shower and bathroom. The deck allowed us unparalleled virws of lake Atitlan and surrounding mountains. The restaurant we checked in for the keys had outstanding vegetarian options including tofu sandwiches, salads, spaghetti with vegetables, sautéed vegetables with rice etc. The people who run the restaurant are super friendly and cooperative. ...
