“Location was amazing, but the hotel is old. The pictures do not show the old wear and tear of the interior in the rooms, walls, carpet, bathroom mirror. If you in for a quick stay and will not be in the room, need to be close to the Alamodome, this is a good stay. The staff at the front desk at afternoon check in and morning check out were not friendly. The parking attendant, Miles, was very helpful and accommodating. There is a Kureg in the room, but no water. The front desk staff instructed...

The hotel’s location was great: close to downtown and the River Walk. The price was low too. Unfortunately, that is where the positive experience ended.
Looking back, I wish I had paid a little more to stay somewhere else. The online photos were misleading. The lobby looked nice, but the rest of the hotel did not match it. The rooms and hallways felt old, worn down, and poorly maintained. It felt like someone tried to put lipstick on a pig.

“Surprisingly great stay! I probably wouldn't have booked without the great reviews and having the option of a living room area with a sofa, since our teen girls are past sharing beds, haha. The breakfast and afternoon snacks were a plus. Loved the garage parking convenience with the elevators straight to your floor. Rooms were a bit outdated but still clean. Drury always made me thing of dreary, but our stay was far from that! The staff was friendly and definitely a great place for family stays....
