“After a long journey, we arrived at this countryside retreat to find minimal parking and overwhelming noise. Upon entering, an extremely loud party with children was underway. Reception was completely unmanned; messaging the number on the desk just caused the phone sitting right there to buzz with no one to answer. “Pros: Hermosa y amplia casa. Cons: No tuvimos agua caliente.

“Pros: The pool was the highlight. So beautiful and well cared for. The pizza oven would have been a big hit too if we’d had the confidence to use it! We loved the seated area next to the pool where there was a welcome breeze in the hot evenings. The large sun room was beautifully furnished and very restful. Very comfortable bedrooms and all a good, generous size. Responsive and helpful host. Cons: There was a local power cut which was not anybody’s fault, but the power cut out two other times in...
