Everything about my stay seemed like I was in a home not just a room. The welcoming feel began as I stepped into the house. Lee, the owner, showed me how to operate the key system, air-conditioning, TV remote, mini refrigerator and insured me that he would have two cups of coffee ready early the next morning. I loved the minimalist decor, tasteful art and invitation to use the dining room. The (my room) place is very comfortable, clean and easy to come and go. My stay was 9 nights. Being an older woman traveling solo, I appreciated the safety of coming and going mostly using my rental car. Parking in front on the street was 90% available. Other times Lee opened up his driveway. A few times I walked 6 to 8 miles in the community which is in an older working class neighborhood. I always felt comfortable getting to know the neighborhood walking and photographing. I drove to the local Trolley station for transportation all over San Diego. I was amazed how much I could explore. There was a heat wave for 2 to 3 days. The air-conditioned room was excellent while I did my computer work. By the way, the Wi-Fi access is strong and dependable. I didn't use the kitchen very much but Lee is comfortable sharing. I will definitely book this unit again. Thanks, Lee, for contributing to my stay in San Diego. I accomplished what I wanted to do in those nine days. I was pleased with my stay.
